In this role, you will:

•  Gather required data from the customer through effective communications (email, phone, and video).

• Build and analyze the electrical power system models using SKM PowerTools software (training provided).

• Complete comprehensive power system studies, including short circuit, protective device coordination, arc flash, and load flow analyses.

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure project success and knowledge sharing.

• Maintain a strong understanding of electrical power systems concepts through continuous learning.

• Attend educational workshops, review professional publications, establish personal networks, and participate in professional societies to maintain professional and technical knowledge.

• Maintain professional licenses, as appropriate.​

 

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited institution in electrical engineering or a related engineering field.

• Experience with power system analysis software a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.  Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Passed the FE or intent to do so if you want to pursue the PE.
