Administrative/Office Assistant

Job Summary:

As an Office and Administrative Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our organization's day-to-day operations. Your duties will include managing office tasks, processing arc flash label requests, and providing essential administrative support. This is a full time in office position. The starting wage is $15 with potential for increases commensurate with skill development.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Arc Flash Label Print Fulfillment:

    • Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of arc flash label requests to maintain the high standards of CPSI.

    • Accurately print and ship required labels within 48 hours.

    • Maintain adequate label and printer ribbon supplies.

    • Perform quality checks on all labels.

    • Troubleshooting printing issue.

  • Purchase Order Processing:

    • Enter required data on three separate Excel Spreadsheets.

    • Create appropriate folders in Outlook.

    • Locate and move files to appropriate folders.

  • Quote Processing: Enter data from RFQ, Request for Quote, responses into the Quotes Spreadsheet.

  • Administrative Tasks:

    • Handle diverse administrative tasks, including managing the PTO calendar, organizing team events, and maintaining office supplies.

    • Handle mail and bank deposits.

    • Maintain the cleanliness of the common areas.

    • Assist in organizing monthly team lunches and quarterly team building events.

    • Assist in maintaining adequate levels of office supplies, frozen and refrigerated foods, and snacks.

    • Assist in maintaining the physical facility.

    • Organize the Learning Library.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills along with an attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment

 

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

 

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Electrical Power System Study Engineer

In this role, you will:

  • Gather required data from the customer through effective communications including email, phone, and video conversations.

  • Build and analyze the electrical power system models using SKM PowerTools software. We will provide any training needed for SKM PowerTools.

  • Complete comprehensive power system studies, including short circuit, protective device coordination, arc flash, load flow, and more.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited institution in electrical engineering or a related engineering field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
